Um domingo, depois da missa, a m\u00e3e de Paula descobre Lourdes beijando sua amiga Agostina no quarto. Fiel \u00e0s suas cren\u00e7as, Paula vai usar a f\u00e9 para tentar &#8220;curar&#8221; a homossexualidade da filha, expondo-a a situa\u00e7\u00f5es cada vez mais dif\u00edceis de suportar. Lourdes deve enfrentar seu pai violento, a discrimina\u00e7\u00e3o na escola e as afrontas constantes de sua m\u00e3e. Although her parents are separated, they attend weekly to church together as the perfect family. One Sunday after Mass, Lourdes&#8217; mother (Paula) discovers her kissing her friend Agostina in her room. True to her beliefs, Paula will try to &#8220;heal&#8221; homosexuality from her daughter, exposing her to situations that are increasingly difficult to bear. Lourdes must face her violent father, discrimination in her school and the constant reproaches of her mother.
